Kyle Pope

Before joining Condé Nast Portfolio as a senior editor, Kyle Pope was a freelance writer contributing to a variety of newspapers and magazines, including the Los Angeles Times, the New York Times, and Blender magazine. From 1994 to 2004 he was a staff reporter and editor at the Wall Street Journal, where he covered the personal-computer business, was a foreign correspondent based in London, served as the deputy editor of media and marketing, and edited the flagship Heard on the Street investment column. Pope was also part of the team of editors and reporters awarded the Pulitzer Prize for their coverage of the September 11 terrorist attacks. Prior to going to the Wall Street Journal, Pope was the senior editor at Inside.com, which he helped launch.

Pope has a B.A. in political science from the University of Texas.
